Kävimme aamulla keräämässä 5 litraa mustikoita. Mustikat tuli kerättyä kolmestaan nopeasti.
Paistoin tänään eiliset kanttarellit. Osa meni pakastimeen ja osasta tein kanttarellipiirakan.

Five liters of blueberries is a massive haul for a morning harvest, and baking them or freezing them will be a lovely treat for later. Chanterelle pie is one of my absolute favorites to bake during mushroom season because the earthy flavor is unbeatable. Enjoy that delicious home-cooked reward after a busy morning out in the woods.

That caterpillar is really scary looking! Its hairs look like drill bits. Barbs in the hairs. Woe to the bird or animal that tries to eat it. I wouldn't dare pick it up, its hairs will definitely cause some kind of reaction in the skin. The caterpillar moved incredibly fast on the road.
