LAUANTAI Saturday

Tänään on tosi sateinen ja pilvinen ilma! +15°C

Ps. Venlojen viesti menee!

  1. You seem to get a lot of exercise, Anne.

    1. I like exercise. I would move a lot more, but my joints and body can no longer handle the strain like they used to. I did all kinds of competitive sports since I was a child, and I got used to training a lot. But now it doesn't work anymore. I go for a run and take rest days when my body tells me to.

  2. It's been raining here for a few days now. It's cold, and we need to turn on the gas for at least two hours. Have a nice Sunday!

  3. I can understand why that consultant is annoying you; I wouldn't go back there either—after all, you know what you need to do...
It’s really cold here too, and windy and rainy on top of that.

    1. It really annoys me to go to the diabetes nurse! This is hereditary for me. My mother, my mother's mother and my father had diabetes. My brother doesn't have it yet. It's only been +7°C here for a few nights now. Yesterday it was so cold all day that I had two wool socks on my feet.

  4. Great photo :-D

I agree with you on the nurses thing! They don't follow their own advice. Type 2 is quite easy to reverse. Read up on a guy called Michael Mosley. He was an amazing guy who reversed his type 2 diabetes with simple changes. He was a wonderful human being and a super clever guy too. :-D

  5. It's annoying to have to sit and listen to their lecture. They would do well to take their own advice.

  6. You have a point there. Those nurses are indeed often overweight and fat themselves. Unfortunately, when you have diabetes, you do have to watch what you eat, but you can certainly have a treat every now and then.

  7. I can understand how frustrating those nurse visits must feel, especially when the advice comes across as repetitive.
You’re clearly doing your best with exercise and balance, and that counts for a lot.
