Tämä päivä on mennyt nopeaa. Aamupäivällä kuorin pienen ämpärillisen omenoita, ja keitin lohkot kypsiksi ennen pakkaseen laittoa. Ämpärillisestä omenoita tuli 3dl säilöttävää omenaa! Omenat on niin matosia, ettei niistä oikein saa mitään.
Luumupuun luumut oli pakko kerätä puusta pois. Nuorimies keräsi monta ämpärillistä luumuja puusta. Keitin osan luumuista mehuksi, osasta tuli vispipuuroa ja piirakkaa. Iso osa luumuista lahjoitettiin muualle.
Kriikunat ovat myös kypsiä, ja ne pitäisi kerätä puista pois. Mitähän ihmettä niistäkin tekisi?
Ps. Tänään on ollut hirveän kuuma ja kostea ilma +24°C!
