Yeah, the squirrel can get its head through and fit to come out. Slender animal. Not all squirrels can fit in there.

It climbed up the metal pipe and stuck its head through. Its body fit inside.

The animal has not been captured. It went to feed the small birds on its own. It also left the feeder on its own. That feeder is designed to prevent squirrels from accessing the bird feeders. It apparently does not prevent all squirrels.
