Lähijärven rannalla, varikset pysyvät tukevassa kunnossa!
Ranta on aivan täynnä simpukoita. Vesi on nyt matalalla. Rantavedessä olleet simpukat ovat jääneet paljaalle hiekalle.
Variksien syömingit ovat kestäneet koko talven. Parhaimmillaan, rannalla on ollut 20 varista yhtäaikaa syömässä simpukoita.
Ps. Tänään tuntuu kuin olisi syksy! Tuulee kylmästi ja taivas on pilvessä! +15°C
Toivottavasti ei tule ennustettua hallaa! Hedelmäpuut ja marjapensaat kukkivat tällä hetkellä.

What a beautiful feast for the birds.
VastaaPoistaI also love to eat mussels.
For once, there's enough food for the crows! That beach is absolutely full of mussel shells! Not just in one spot, but the entire long shore. I wonder how many mussels there are in the lake, every year there are huge amounts of mussel shells on the shores, and live mussels.
PoistaLucky crows, Anne. We have the same weather as you.
VastaaPoistaIs it raining there? It's sunny here, but the wind is gusty and cold.
Poistafeels like autumn here too
VastaaPoistaIt would be nice if that strong wind would stop!
PoistaLindas imagenes. Te mando un beso.
VastaaPoistaThank you very much.

VastaaPoistaHow interesting that the crows have had such a feast all winter! Do they actually manage to open the mussels themselves, or do they mostly find the ones that are already broken? I hope the frost stays away too... it would be such a shame with all the fruit trees and berry bushes in bloom.
Some of the mussels are already partially open, they are not in the water. The crow is a smart bird. When we walked on the beach in winter, other mussels were frozen.
PoistaOs corvos puderam usufruir, livremente, de um repasto em comunhão com a natureza.
VastaaPoistaAbraço de amizade.
