RAUTIAINEN The dunnock (Prunella modularis)

Yöllä oli taas pakkasta!! Mittari näytti -2.2°C

Kiersimme tänään lähialueen peltoja autolla. Etsimme täällä olevia kattohaikaroita. Lintuja emme löytäneet. Meidän on huomenna jatkettava etsimistä.

Olisi tosi kiva nähdä taas kattohaikara. Muutamia vuosia sitten, täällä vietti yksi kattohaikara aikaa monta viikkoa.

  2. I hope you get to see some storks soon. Of course we never have them in Canada.Well, there is one kind that has occasionally been spotted and that one is
Mycteria americana or Wood Stork. I myself have never seen one.

  3. A ferreirinha-comum é uma ave residente no norte de Portugal e invernante no sul do país.
A cegonha vem a Portugal na primavera e no verão, altura em que faz a sua criação, e volta a partir no outono.

  4. Here, the young storks are already sitting in their nest... I wish you the best of luck. We had a lot of rain last week, and it was cold—by our standards, at least—at 7 degrees; today, however, the sun is back out, which is lovely.
    Sending you a hug.
Happy Sunday—today is Mother's Day here... we're going to go for a hike.
    Warm regards
... nice foto - Thank you very much :-))
